Outer Hebrides
The Outer Hebrides also known as the Western Isles and the Long Island, is an island chain off the west coast of mainland Scotland. The islands are geographically conterminous with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, one of the 32 unitary council areas of Scotland. They form part of the Hebrides, separated from the Scottish mainland and from the Inner Hebrides by the waters of the Minch, the Little Minch and the Sea of the Hebrides.

Roineabhal
Roineabhal is a hill on the Isle of Harris, in the Western Isles of Scotland. The granite on the summit plateau of the mountain is anorthosite, and is similar in composition to rocks found in the mountains of the Moon. The area is part of the South Lewis, Harris and North Uist National Scenic Area. It is the site of the original Lingerbay 'superquarry' planning application, submitted in 1991 and finally withdrawn in 2004.

Rodel
Rodel is a village on the south-eastern coast of Harris, an island in the Scottish Outer Hebrides. It was formerly the historic capital and main port of Harris before Tarbert took the title. St Clement's Church (Eaglais Chliamhain) is a 15th century church that was built for Clan MacLeod and is dedicated to Pope Clement I. The church was built using local Lewisian gneiss rock. It overlooks Loch Rodel. This well-preserved church is currently under the responsibility of Historic Scotland.
