Salcha River
The Salcha River is a river in Alaska in the United States located southeast and east of Fairbanks, in the eastern portion of Fairbanks North Star Borough. It is 125 miles long and drains an area of some 2,170 square miles, making it the second largest tributary of the Tanana River, joining it near the now defunct Aurora Lodge. The Trans-Alaska Pipeline crosses under the Salcha approximately 12 miles (19 km) east of the mouth of the river.
