Holy Rosary Academy, located in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, is a Roman Catholic independent school for grades K-12. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Anchorage. The Academy was founded in 1987 by a group of Catholic parents in Anchorage who desired a school where a sound education in Catholicism would be an essential part of their children’s academic progress. It has grown from a small student body of just eighteen students to now more than 85 in grades K-12.

Steller Secondary School is an alternative school located in Anchorage, Alaska. It is based on the philosophy that students have the right to control their own education. The Anchorage School District established the school in 1974 as a response to a proposal by the Committee of Alternative Secondary Education. Steller was named after Georg Wilhelm Steller, a naturalist from Germany who traveled with Vitus Bering on an exploratory voyage to Alaska.

Mulcahy Stadium
Mulcahy Stadium is a 3,500-capacity baseball park in Anchorage, Alaska. Built in 1964, it is home to two teams of the Alaska Baseball League: the Anchorage Glacier Pilots and Anchorage Bucs. In addition to the Glacier Pilots and Bucs, high school and American Legion games are played at Mulcahy. The ballpark is named after former Alaska Railroad station auditor assistant William Mulcahy. It is located west of the Sullivan Arena across a parking lot.

West Anchorage High School is a public high school in Anchorage, the largest city of the U.S. state of Alaska. The school is part of the Anchorage School District (ASD). Serving the western parts of downtown and midtown Anchorage, it had an enrollment of 1,836 as of October 1, 2010, making it the second-largest school in Alaska after its cross-town neighbor and rival East Anchorage High School.

The Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center is a convention center in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. The $111 million, 200,000-square-foot facility opened in September 2008, early and within budget. The Dena’ina Center increases Anchorage’s civic and convention capacity by 300 percent, and offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the Dena'ina people who have lived in the Cook Inlet Region since just after the last Ice Age.
