Joseph City, Arizona

Joseph City (elevation 5,000 ft) is an unincorporated community located in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. It is located on Interstate 40 about eighty miles east of Flagstaff and about thirty-five miles west of Petrified Forest National Park. In 2010, there were 1,386 inhabitants. It is the site of the Jack Rabbit Trading Post, a famous Route 66 landmark.

Standin' on the Corner Park

Standin' on the Corner Park (opened 1999 in Winslow, Arizona) is a publicly operated park, commemorating the Eagles-Jackson Browne song "Take It Easy". The park contains a two-story trompe-l'œil mural by John Pugh, and a life-size bronze statue of a man standing on a corner, with a guitar. The park is surrounded a wall of bricks, each with a donor's name on it, and a story by each of the donors describing their fondness for Winslow.
