Eberts Field (Airport)

Eberts Field is a former military airfield, located 1.4 miles northwest of Lonoke, Arkansas. The airfield was one of thirty-two Air Service training camps established in 1917 after the United States entry into World War I. It operated as a training field during World War I for the Air Service, United States Army between 1917 until 1919. The airfield was also used as a contract glider training airfield during World War II by the United States Army Air Forces, being closed in 1943.

Lonoke High School

Lonoke High School is a nationally recognized and accredited public high school located in the rural community of Lonoke, Arkansas, United States. The school provides comprehensive secondary education for approximately 550 students each year in grades 9 through 12. It is one of four public high schools in Lonoke County, Arkansas and the only high school administered by the Lonoke School District.

Lonoke County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. Its population was 68,356 at the 2010 United States Census. The county seat is at Lonoke, while Cabot is the largest city in the county. Lonoke County is included in the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also an alcohol prohibition or dry county. Lonoke County is Arkansas's 70th county, formed on 16 April 1873.
