Lanton, Missouri

Lanton is an unincorporated community in Howell County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Route 17 between Route 142 and the Arkansas line. It formerly had a post office, but mail is now served from West Plains. The community was founded before 160, and is named for its founders, Lancaster and Sutton. The former Lanton school is located next to the Fire Station, and is in extreme disrepair.

Salem High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Salem, Fulton County, Arkansas, United States. It is one of three public high schools in Fulton County and the sole high school administered by Salem School District.
