Mendocino Pass

Mendocino Pass is a mountain pass located in the Northern Coast Ranges in California. The pass, in the extreme northwest corner of Glenn County, is at an elevation of about 5,006 feet and at the gap, two dirt roads intersect. One of them is US Forest Highway 7, a dirt road connecting two disjointed sections of State Route 162. The pass and dirt roads are closed in winter due to heavy snowfall.

Round Valley Indian Tribes of the Round Valley Reservation

The Round Valley Indian Reservation is a federally recognized Indian reservation lying primarily in northern Mendocino County, California, USA. A small part of it extends northward into southern Trinity County. The total land area, including off-reservation trust land, is 93.939 km² (36.270 sq mi). More than two-thirds of this area is off-reservation trust land, including about 405 acres in the community of Covelo.
