The District serves approximately 6,700 students in the cities of Cotati and Rohnert Park and neighboring areas of Sonoma County. Cotati, California

Cotati is an incorporated city in Sonoma County, California, U.S.A. , located about 45 mi north of San Francisco in the 101 corridor between Rohnert Park and Petaluma. Cotati's population as of the 2010 Census was 7,265, making it the smallest incorporated community in Sonoma County. Like all of Sonoma County, Cotati is included in both the San Francisco Bay Area and the Redwood Empire. Located in the Sonoma Coast AVA, Cotati can also be considered part of the Wine Country.

Washoe Creek

Washoe Creek {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38.3499144|N|122.7330437|W|type:river_region:US-CA|||| | |name= }} is a perennial stream located in Sonoma County, California. It is about 2 mi long and discharges to the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Washoe Creek rises in the low lying Meacham Hills southwest of the city of Cotati. It descends to the northeast, flowing under Roblar Road and Stony Point Road.

Rohnert Park Stadium

Rohnert Park Stadium was a stadium in Rohnert Park, California, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38.35241|-122.72193|type:landmark_region:US-CA|||||| |primary |name= }}. It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Redwood Pioneers and the Sonoma County Crushers minor league baseball teams. It was built in 1981 and held 4,150 people. The stadium was torn down in 2005, and the land was redeveloped as a Costco.

El Camino High School (Rohnert Park)

El Camino High School serves students 16 year olds and over who prefer or need an alternative to the comprehensive high school setting. Most students arrive with credit deficiencies and transfer to El Camino throughout the school year. About 50-60 students graduate each year, with another 20 to 30 returning to Rancho Cotate High School to graduate with their own class.
