WINE is a radio station broadcasting a sports format. Licensed to Brookfield, Connecticut, USA, it serves the Danbury area. The station is currently owned by Cumulus Licensing Llc. In the 1970s and early 80s WINE was a Top 40 station. As the audience migrated to the FM band, WINE became a full-service adult contemporary station. In the 90's WINE became part of an all-news network that included WNLK, which both became newstalk a few years later.

Candlewood Lake, 8.4 sq mi (21.8 km²), is located in Fairfield and Litchfield counties of western Connecticut, in the northeastern United States. It is the largest lake in Connecticut. The lake is bordered by five towns: Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, and Sherman.

Brookfield High School (Connecticut)

Brookfield High School is a high school (grades 9-12) in Brookfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. In the 2006-2007 school year the school had roughly 1000 students. This steep increase was due to one of the largest freshman classes ever, with over 300 people. Ethnically the students are approximately 97% Caucasian, .12% Black, 0.3% Asian, 2.6% Hispanic. The school is located at 45 Longmeadow Hill Road.

New Fairfield Historical District

The New Fairfield Historical District is in New Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2005, the newly created state-funded Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism awarded its first Endangered Properties Grant to the Town of New Fairfield. The $50,000 grant was used to relocate and preserve the Parsonage and the Gideon Hubbell House, two historically significant State Register properties threatened with demolition.
