The Naugatuck Metro-North Railroad station serves residents of Naugatuck, Connecticut, USA via the Waterbury Branch of the New Haven Line. All service on the Waterbury Branch is shuttle service to Bridgeport running on very light frequencies (six trains daily weekdays, four weekends); travel time to Bridgeport is 43 minutes. The station is 82.5 miles to Grand Central, with travel time there being an average of two hours, 15 minutes depending on transfer time at Bridgeport.

Laurel Park Incorporated

The Laurel Park, Inc. site, also known as Hunters Mountain Dump, or Murtha's Dump to locals, is a capped landfill that occupies approximately 20 acres of a 35-acre parcel of land in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The landfill has been in existence since the late 1940s, and several industries disposed of solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, chemical and liquid sludge, chemical solids, tires, and rubber products there. The facility continued to operate as a municipal landfill until 1987.

Naugatuck High School

Naugatuck High School is a high school (grades 9-12) in Naugatuck, New Haven County, Connecticut. The school principal is Janice Saam. The school is located at 543 Rubber Avenue. The building was constructed in 1959. 3 wings were added during the 1970s and are known as Castle House, Goodyear House, And the Applied Education Wing which contains all of the shop classes. The main building is now known as the Judd House. The original building, located on Hillside Ave.

Gunntown Cemetery

Gunntown Cemetery is an old cemetery in Naugatuck, Connecticut which was established in 1790. Many of Naugatuck's citizens who supported independence from British rule during the Revolutionary War are buried in the cemetery. The cemetery is also considered by many to be haunted.
