Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point
The Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point is a nature center and bird sanctuary in Milford, Connecticut, established in 1995. Over 300 different species of bird have been observed at this location. The Coastal Center is located on an 8.4-acre barrier beach—the Smith-Hubbell Wildlife Refuge & Bird Sanctuary—and is situated next to the 840-acre Charles Wheeler Salt Marsh and Wildlife Management Area at the mouth of the Housatonic River.

Charles Island is a 14 acre (57,000 m²) island located roughly 0.5 mile (1 km) off the coast of Milford, Connecticut, in Long Island Sound centered at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|11|28.32|N|73|03|18|W|type:landmark_region:US | |name=Charles Island }}. Charles Island is accessible from shore via a tombolo (locally referred to as a sandbar), which is exposed at low tide. Milford Ice Pavilion
Milford Ice Pavilion is a 1,000-seat skating rink in Milford, Connecticut. It is home to the Milford Indians co-op high school team, Notre Dame High School Lancers, and Sacred Heart University Pioneers men's ice hockey team. The building opened in 1975 and was renovated in 1985. It also serves several local hockey high school and club level teams. It has been the home of the Sacred Heart hockey program since its inception in 1993.
