Cape Henlopen High School is a public high school in Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware, USA. The school is part of the Cape Henlopen School District and is located between Savannah Road and King's Highway. Cape Henlopen's school colors are bright gold and Columbia blue. Junction and Breakwater Trail

The Junction and Breakwater Trail is a 6-mile long rail trail located on the southwestern side of Cape Henlopen State Park connecting Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It is the third rail-trail built in Delaware and it is the longest in the state. It follows the former Penn Central rail line that once transported passengers to the many Methodist resort camps along the Atlantic coast.

Zwaanendael Colony

Zwaanendael or Swaanendael was a short lived Dutch colonial settlement in Delaware. It was built in 1631. The name is archaic Dutch for "swan valley. " The site of the settlement later became the town of Lewes, Delaware.

Lewes, Delaware

Lewes is an incorporated city in eastern Sussex County, Delaware, on the Delmarva Peninsula. According to the 2010 census, the population is 2,747, a decrease of 6.3% from 2000. The city is part of the rapidly growing Delaware Beaches area and lies within the Seaford Micropolitan Statistical Area. Lewes proudly claims to be "The First Town in The First State."

WGMD is a radio station licensed to serve Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Sussex County and the five other counties known as Delmarva.
