It is currently owned and operated by David Laxer, son of original owner Bern Laxer, as well as a few key local families acting as partner. Straz Center for the Performing Arts
The David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa, Florida in July 1987 and has welcomed more than 10 million guests.
