Gulfstream Park

Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino is a racetrack and county-approved racino in Hallandale Beach, Florida, in the United States. During its annual meet, which spans December through April, it is one of the most important venues for horse racing in America. Gulfstream Park was opened on Wednesday February 1, 1939 conducting a four-day meeting. The initial meeting had a crowd of 18,000. In 1944, the track was reopened by James Donn, Sr. for a 20-day meeting in December.

Aventura, Florida

Aventura is a planned, suburban city located in northeastern Miami-Dade County, Florida. The city name is from the Spanish word for "adventure", and was named "Aventura" after one of the developers of the original group of condominiums in the area remarked to the others, "What an adventure this is going to be. " The name predates the well known mall built near the condominium developments. According to the U.S. Census estimates of 2010, the city had a population of 35,762.

Hallandale Beach is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is named after Luther Halland, a worker for Henry Flagler's Florida East Coast Railroad. As of the 2010 census, the population was 37,113. It is part of the South Florida metropolitan area, which was home to 5,564,635 people at the 2010 census. The city is known as the home of Gulfstream Park (racing and casino) and Mardi Gras Casino greyhound racing track, which hosts the World Classic.
