Florida Cracker Trail

The Florida Cracker Trail runs from just east of Bradenton, and ends in Fort Pierce, a total distance of approximately 120 miles . In years past, this route was used for both cattle and horses. Today it includes parts of State Road 66, State Road 64, and U.S. Highway 98. On November 20, 2000, the Florida Cracker Trail was selected as a Community Millennium Trail.

Cracker Lake (Florida)

Cracker Lake is a very small manmade lake inside Zolfo Springs, Florida. This lake is square and has a surface area of 1.5 acres . It is contained within Cracker Lake RV Resort, which owns it. The resort was established in 1988 and the lake was dug at this time. It is surrounded on all but the west side by streets within the resort. Mobile homes and RVs line the streets on the lake's east and south sides. Two administrative buildings are on the north shore.

Wauchula is a city located in Hardee County, Florida, United States, and had a population of 4,368 at the 2000 census. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2004 estimates, the city had a population of 4,441. It is the county seat of Hardee County. Wauchula has been called the "Cucumber Capital of the World", although citrus has become a more important agricultural crop over the past few decades.
