Plant City Stadium

Plant City Stadium is a stadium in Plant City, Florida. It is primarily used for softball and was the spring training home of Cincinnati Reds prior to moving to Ed Smith Stadium in 1998. The ballpark has a capacity of 6,000 people and opened in 1988. In 2013, it will be the home for the VSI Tampa Bay FC soccer team in USL Pro.

Hillsborough Community College

Hillsborough Community College (HCC) is a two-year community college, located in Hillsborough County, Florida. The college has six campuses located throughout the county. Locations include: Brandon, Dale Mabry, Plant City, Ybor City, MacDill AFB, and South Shore (on the south shore of Tampa Bay in Ruskin). Plant City, Florida

Plant City is a city in Hillsborough County, Florida, in the United States, approximately midway between Brandon and Lakeland along Interstate 4. The population was 34,721 at the 2010 census. Many people believe it was named for the flora grown at plant nurseries in its tropical Gulf Coast climate. However, it was actually named after prominent railroad developer, Henry B. Plant.
