Plant City, Florida

Plant City is a city in Hillsborough County, Florida, in the United States, approximately midway between Brandon and Lakeland along Interstate 4. The population was 34,721 at the 2010 census. Many people believe it was named for the flora grown at plant nurseries in its tropical Gulf Coast climate. However, it was actually named after prominent railroad developer, Henry B. Plant.

Dinosaur World (theme parks)

Dinosaur World is the name of three outdoor dinosaur theme parks in the US. Locations include Plant City, Florida, Glen Rose, Texas, and Cave City, Kentucky. The parks each feature over 150 life-size dinosaur sculptures created by Christer Svensson. Plant City High School

The Plant City High School is a historic public high school in Plant City, Florida, United States. It was built in 1914 on a design by Tampa based architect Willis R. Biggers at 605 North Collins Street. The original building is now a community center and a new school building completed in 1972 on Maki Road, later designated with the address of 1 Raider Place.
