Garrison Channel
The Garrison Channel is one of several channels for boat traffic in and around the Port of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. Anchored by Channelside on the East leading to Ybor Channel and Sparkman Channel, and by the Tampa Convention Center on the west leading to Hillsborough River. Garrison Channel is home to the Waterside Marriott and St. Pete Times Forum on the north bank and Harbour Island on the south bank.

Dick Greco Plaza
Dick Greco Plaza is a HARTline transit center located in the southern end of downtown Tampa across from the Marriott Waterside and the Tampa Convention Center. It is the terminal station for the TECO Line Streetcar System and the In-Town Trolley routes. It opened on January 30, 2003 and cost $3 million to build. The station was officially dedicated on May 29, 2008 in honor of Dick A. Greco, a former mayor who was instrumental in bringing streetcars back to Tampa after an almost 60 year absence.

Tampa Bay Times Forum
The Tampa Bay Times Forum is an arena in Tampa, Florida, that has been used for ice hockey, basketball, and arena football games, as well as concerts. It is home to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League. In January 2012, the facility was renamed Tampa Bay Times Forum in keeping with the renaming of the St. Petersburg Times, which has the arena's naming rights. The newspaper's naming rights agreement is through August 31, 2018.

Battle of Tampa
The Battle of Tampa was a minor engagement of the American Civil War fought June 30 – July 1, 1862, between the United States Navy and a Confederate artillery company charged with protecting the ports of Tampa, a small but notable trade hub for the Confederacy, now facing a full-scale Union naval blockade along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts.
