Bloomingdale High School

Bloomingdale High School is a public high school located in Valrico, Florida. Bloomingdale was established in 1987, three years after Gaither High School, and has its same architectural design. Bloomingdale's first graduating class graduated in 1989, since Hillborough County does not pull seniors from existing schools for new schools. The current principal is Mr. Mark West. The first principal was Mr. Charley Harris. The football stadium is named for him (Charley Harris Stadium).

WUSF (FM)

WUSF is the flagship National Public Radio member station in the Tampa Bay area. It is licensed to Tampa and owned by the University of South Florida. WUSF signed on in 1963, seven years after USF's founding in 1956. WUSF's current format features news and talk programming during the day and jazz at night, and variety programming on weekends from NPR and other sources, including A Prairie Home Companion and Car Talk. Its HD Radio feed features classical music from sister station WSMR.

WEDU

WEDU is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member Public television station, serving the Tampa Bay DMA in Florida. The station first signed on the air on October 17, 1958. Its transmitter is located in Riverview, Florida. WEDU is one of two PBS stations in the Tampa Bay market (the other being WUSF), and the only one to carry PBS's main schedule. For many years, WEDU has been one of the highest-rated stations in the PBS system.
