Warm Mineral Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 4,811 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Bradenton–Sarasota–Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Warm Mineral Springs locale is notable for a free-flowing artesian spring. A large portion of the area was annexed by the municipality of North Port, and is now part of that city.

North Port, Florida

North Port is a city in southern Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 55,759 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was originally developed by General Development Corporation as the northern or Sarasota County part of its Port Charlotte development. GDC dubbed it North Port Charlotte, and it was incorporated under that name through a special act of the Florida Legislature in 1959.

Charlotte Sports Park

Charlotte Sports Park (formerly known as Charlotte County Stadium and Ranger Stadium) is a baseball stadium in Port Charlotte, Florida. The stadium is the home field for Tampa Bay Rays spring training operations, as well as its Class-A Florida State League Charlotte Stone Crabs and Rookie-class Gulf Coast Rays teams. Deer Prairie Creek Preserve

Deer Prairie Creek Preserve is a 6,439-acre natural area with 70 miles of trail in Venice, Florida, USA, around six miles along the Myakka River. The land was acquired between 2000 and 2004 through a partnership between Sarasota County’s Environmentally Sensitive Lands Protection Program (ESLPP) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The north entrance is at 7001 Forbes Trail and the south entrance at 10201 South Tamiami Trail.
