Riverdale High School (Fort Myers, Florida)

Riverdale High School, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is one of the many high schools in Lee County. The first two years of Riverdale began at the present day site of Dunbar High School. Riverdale was located in this area for approximately two years while the present-day site was still in construction. Jack Hogg was the principal for the first two years. In the 1972-1973 school year the school moved to its present-day location and the principal became Mr. "Mike" Prymas.

Franklin Lock and Dam

The Franklin Lock and Dam, also known as the W.P. Franklin Lock and Dam, is a navigable lock and dam in Olga, Florida, United States. This lock and dam cost $3.8 million dollars, and was constructed in 1965. It is located on the Caloosahatchee River approximately 33 miles upstream from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. It is located at latitude 26° 43" 16', longitude -81° 41"40', on the Caloosahatchee River about 33 miles upstream of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.

Wilson Pigott Bridge

The Wilson Pigott Bridge (also locally known as the State Road 31 Bridge) is a small two-lane drawbridge located near Fort Myers Shores in Lee County, Florida. It is one of four drawbridges in Lee County. It is 27 feet tall. The Wilson Pigott Bridge was built in 1960, and it carries State Road 31 over the Caloosahatchee River. This segment of State Road 31 is located between State Road 80 on the southern side of the river, and State Road 78 on the north side of the river.
