Deerland, Florida

Deerland is an unincorporated community in Okaloosa County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Fort Walton Beach–Crestview–Destin Metropolitan Statistical Area. Deerland is located in a rural area along U.S. Route 90 from County Road 393 eastward to the Walton County line. Eglin AFB borders the community on the south; Dorcas, on the north; Mossy Head, in Walton County, on the north; and Killingsworth Crossroads, on the west. Crestview, moreover, is about fifteen miles to the west.

Crestview High School (Florida)

Crestview High School (also known as CHS) is the only high school in the city of Crestview, Florida. It is the largest in Okaloosa County. The mascot of the school is the bulldog. In January 2007, Ed Coleman replaced Andy Johnson as principal after serving as vice principal at Niceville High School.

Crestview (Amtrak station)

Amtrak's Crestview Station is an unstaffed train station in Crestview, Florida. Despite the quaint and non-modern appearance similar to the Bill Lee Station in Chipley, the station was built in 1993 when the Sunset Limited was extended to Orlando, Florida. Service to the station has been suspended since Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in 2005.
