Cypress Bay High School is a secondary school located in Weston, Florida open for students in grades 9-12. Cypress Bay is a part of the Broward County Public Schools district. It currently enrolls 4,400 students. The groundbreaking for the future site of CBHS occurred in early 2001, and construction was finished by late 2002. The school offers academic pursuits including Advanced Placement courses, honors courses, and an array of academic and extracurricular student clubs and organizations.

Fox Observatory

Fox Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association. It is located in Sunrise, Florida (USA). In the late 1960s, Dr. Joseph Dennison Fox, Professor of Astronomy and History, completed his tenure at the University of Puerto Rico, and with his wife Sylvia, retired to North Miami. He brought with him an optical tube assembly for a 6-inch f/15 refractor.

Andytown, Florida

Andytown, Florida, was a town located in Broward County at the intersection of U.S. 27 and SR 84. It was demolished in 1979 in order to allow for the expansion of the Alligator Alley portion of Interstate 75.
