Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
Lava Hot Springs is a city in Bannock County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the 'Pocatello, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area'. The population was 407 at the 2010 census, down from 521 in 2000. Located in the mountainous valley of the Portneuf River on the old route of the Oregon Trail and California Trail, the city has become a popular resort location, noted for its numerous hot springs amenable to bathing and a turbulent inner tube run through part of the town.

Soda Dam
Soda Dam, also known as Alexander Dam (National ID # ID00060), is a dam in Caribou County, Idaho, directly west of the town of Soda Springs. The concrete dam was originally constructed in 1925, with a current height of 94 feet and a length of 492 feet at its crest, since a 1991 re-construction. It impounds Bear River for hydroelectric power, one of the hydropower facilities owned and operated by the electric utility PacifiCorp.

Gem Valley
Gem Valley is a rural valley in southeast Idaho, in the United States, so named for its local gemstones which can be found throughout the valley. It is approximately 20 miles wide at its widest point east to west, and 60 – 70 miles long north to south. By local definition, Gem Valley originates at the Chesterfield Reservoir to the north, and terminates at the Oneida Narrows Reservoir to the south.
