Driggs, Idaho

Driggs is a city in Teton County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Jackson, WY-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, and is located in Teton Valley, the headwaters of the Teton River. The population was 1,660 at the 2010 census, up from 1,100 in 2000. The city is the county seat of Teton County, and was its largest city until recently passed by Victor. The Teton Valley was discovered by John Colter in 1808, a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804–06).

Teton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. Established in 1915, it was named after the Teton Mountains to the east. The county had a population of 10,170 at the 2010 Census, up from 5,999 in 2000. The county seat is Driggs, formerly the county's largest city, recently overtaken by Victor. Teton County is part of the Jackson, WY-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area. The Teton Valley was discovered by John Colter in 1808, a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804–06).
