Dubois, Idaho
Dubois is a city in Clark County, Idaho, United States. The population was 677 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Clark County. The city was named in 1892 for Fred Dubois (1851−1930), the state's prominent politician in its early years. He came to Idaho in 1880 and was the state's first U.S. Senator and served for two non-consecutive terms (1891−97, 1901−07). Six miles (10 km) north of town is the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station, the county's second largest employer.

Clark County is a rural county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2010 Census the county had a population of 982. The county seat and largest city is Dubois. With the 2010 census, Clark County became the state's least populous county, overtaken by Camas County. Clark County was established on February 1, 1919, partitioned from Fremont County. It was named for State Senator Sam K. Clark, an early pioneer on Medicine Lodge Creek.
