Moyie Dam

Moyie Dam is a dam in Boundary County, Idaho. The current 92-foot-high concrete gravity dam was built in 1950, and is owned and operated by the city of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The city acquired its own hydroelectric facilities in 1921 and expanded several times; three powerhouses about 1000 feet downstream were built in 1921, 1941, and 1982, and their combined output totals just under 4 megawatts.

Moyie River Canyon Bridge

The Moyie River Canyon Bridge is a structural steel truss cantilever bridge at mile marker 70 on U.S. Route 2 spanning the Moyie River near Bonners Ferry and Moyie Springs. It was constructed in 1965 and it is 1,223-foot long and 424 feet high. The current bridge replaced an obsolete bridge built in 1923, directly downstream from the municipally owned Moyie Dam.
