Saint Joe River

The Saint Joe River (sometimes called St. Joe River, although the USGS does not use that spelling) is a river in northern Idaho that winds through the Saint Joe River Valley, through Avery, Calder, and St. Maries. Eventually the river dumps into Coeur d'Alene Lake. Saint Joe River is part of the Spokane River drainage basin, which in turn is part of the Columbia River Basin. It has been described as the highest navigable river in the world.
