North–South Ski Bowl
North–South Ski Bowl was a modest ski area in the western United States. It was located in northern Idaho in the Hoodoo Mountains of southern Benewah County in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. The bowl-shaped slope faced northeast and the vertical drop was just under 400 feet on Dennis Mountain, accessed from State Highway 6 south of Emida. An "upside-down" ski area, the parking lot and lodge were at the top, less than a mile from the highway, formerly designated as 95A.

Tensed, Idaho
Tensed is a city in Benewah County, Idaho, United States. The population was 123 at the 2010 census, down from 126 in 2000. The city is within the Coeur d'Alene Reservation, and is accessed by U.S. Route 95, the state's primary north-south highway. The city was originally called Desmet, but the post office requested a change as that name was taken by nearby De Smet. The name was reversed to Temsed and then misspelled by the post office.

The name sources from the mill works at nearby Potlatch to the west, as workers would frequent the bars after work.
