Sun Valley Opera House

The Sun Valley Opera House was built in 1937 in Sun Valley, Idaho, as a movie theater. The picturesque Opera House has a 344-seat capacity and a state-of-the-art sound system (installed in 1999). It is the site for special events and as well as nightly showing of first-run movies. It is located in the Sun Valley Village, near the Sun Valley Lodge and Sun Valley Inn. During the summer and winter seasons, the 1941 movie "Sun Valley Serenade" is shown free of charge daily at 5:00 pm.

Community School (Sun Valley, Idaho)

The Community School is a private school in the western United States, located in Sun Valley, Idaho. It was established in 1973 as a secondary school and moved to its present location in 1977. The school now provides pre-school through twelfth grade programs and its campus is located just south of the Sun Valley village alongside Trail Creek, at the northwest base of Dollar Mountain.

Sun Valley, Idaho

Sun Valley is a resort city in Blaine County in the central part of the U.S. state of Idaho, adjacent to the city of Ketchum, situated within the greater Wood River valley. The population was 1,406 at the 2010 census, down from 1,427 in 2000. The elevation of Sun Valley (at the Lodge) is 5,920 feet above sea level. The area is served by Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey, approximately 15 miles south.

Sun Valley Center for the Arts

Sun Valley Center for the Arts is the oldest arts organization in central Idaho’s Wood River Valley. Founded in 1971, the center has grown from a few people presenting classes and events to an organization that has over 25,000 people attend events annually (in a valley with a population of 22,000). More than half of those who attended, attended free programs.
