Big Timber Road (Metra)

Big Timber Road is a commuter railroad station in the Kane County portion of Elgin, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. The station is the western terminus or Metra's Milwaukee District/West Line. It is 39.8 miles away from Chicago Union Station, the eastern terminus of the line. When it opened in 1986, the surrounding area mostly consisted of farmland. Since then, numerous residential subdivisions have been built. Average ridership is about 800.

Judson University

Judson University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts university located in Elgin, Illinois, United States. It was founded in 1963. Judson was formed out of the liberal arts component of Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. When the seminary moved from Chicago to Lombard, Illinois, it was decided to make the college separate from the seminary. Originally as Judson College, it was named after Adoniram Judson, the first American Baptist missionary to foreign shores.
