Bensenville is a village located in both Cook County and DuPage County, Illinois, with a portion of the town near O'Hare International Airport in Cook County, Illinois, officially belonging to the City of Chicago. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 18,352. Bensenville is home to the Edge Ice Arena, home of the Chicago Steel junior ice hockey team. The village has a diverse population.

The Edge Ice Arena is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Bensenville, Illinois. It had been used by the official training facility and practice arena for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League before the team built a new downtown Chicago training facility. The ice arena is also the home to the Chicago Steel Tier I Jr. Hockey team and the Robert Morris University Eagles Men's and Women's college ice hockey teams competing at the ACHA DI level.
