Hodgkins is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,897 at the 2010 census. A large United Parcel Service sorting facility, known as CACH, is located partly in Hodgkins and partly in nearby Willow Springs on the outskirts of Chicago. Resurrection Mary

Resurrection Mary is a well-known Chicago area ghost story. Of the "vanishing hitchhiker" type, the story takes place outside Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois, a few miles southwest of Chicago. Since the 1930s, several men driving northeast along Archer Avenue between the Willowbrook Ballroom and Resurrection Cemetery have reported picking up a young female hitchhiker.

McCook, Illinois

McCook is a suburb of Chicago in Cook County, in the U.S. state of Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 228, which is the lowest population of all municipalities in the county. It was named for John J. McCook, a late 19th century director of the Santa Fe Railroad and a former Civil War officer. The railway stopped at a small station in McCook.
