Lily Lake is a village in Kane County, Illinois, United States. The town is 11 miles southwest of Elgin and 43 miles west of Chicago. The village is part of the Chicago metro area. South Elgin (Amtrak station)
The South Elgin Amtrak station is a proposed train station located in South Elgin, Illinois, and will serve a new Chicago-Rockford-Dubuque Amtrak route that is expected to begin operation in late 2014 or early 2015. South Elgin will be the first stop west of Chicago Union Station. The city of South Elgin is planning the location for the station to be on Randall Road. No other plans for the station have been identified so far.
