The Kewanee Amtrak station is a train station in Kewanee, Illinois, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. A new station opened on April 13, 2012, replacing a smaller brick structure built in 1986. In addition to the waiting room, the depot houses a regional office of the Henry County Tourism Bureau. Designed by the Peoria-based Farnsworth Group, the new $485,000 station has a sloping roof and great wall of glass.

Miller's Virden Broadcasting Corp. Miller announced the sale of WKEI, along with sister stations WJRE and WYEC, to the cluster's sales manager Fletcher Ford, on November 30, 2012. That sale is expected to close in first quarter 2013, pending FCC approval. The station provided the town with its first local radio signal.
