McHenry (Metra)
McHenry is a station on Metra's Union Pacific/Northwest Line, located in McHenry, Illinois. The station is the terminus of the McHenry Branch of the Northwest Line; inbound trains operate as far as Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago. The station is also the only station on the McHenry Branch after it splits off at Pingree Road.

McHenry Dam
The McHenry Dam is the only dam on the Fox River that is serviced by a lock system. It is located in McHenry County, Illinois and was built in 1907. The facility is owned and run by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The lock operates for all powered, sail driven, or paddle propelled canoes or boats, even float tubes, at no charge.
