WTLC is an AM radio station owned by Radio One in Indianapolis, Indiana. The station operates on the AM radio frequency of 1310 kHz. The studios are located at the corner of Meridian and St. Joseph Streets. The transmitter and antenna, according to the FCC, are located on the southside of Indianapolis between Troy and Sumner Avenues near the Indiana Railroad (the same block as WTTV's studios and transmitters.)

Central State Hospital (Indiana)

Central State Hospital, formally referred to as the Central Indiana Hospital for the Insane was a psychiatric treatment hospital in Indiana. While the Indiana legislature had authorized the establishment of a "hospital for the insane" as early as 1827, the doors of the Indiana Hospital for the Insane (later renamed Central State Hospital) did not open until November, 1848.

Indianapolis Zoo

The Indianapolis Zoo located in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. In 1944 thoughts of the Indianapolis zoo first came to mind by a newspaper columnist named Lowell B. Nussbaum. He began to write his opinions of wanting a zoo through his column "Inside Indianapolis. " It was his writing that inspired the Indianapolis people and in October 1944 the "Articles of Incorporation for the Indianapolis zoological society, INC" emerged.
