Hardy Lake

Hardy Lake, originally named Quick Creek Reservoir, is an Indiana state reservoir in Scott and Jefferson counties, Indiana. It is located four miles (6 km) east of Austin, Indiana and 35 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky. It is the smallest reservoir maintained by the state of Indiana, measuring 2,448 acres of total property, and 741 acres of surface area for the lake. The lake is approximately 38 feet deep. Hardy Lake is surrounded by other state and federal properties.

Marshfield, Scott County, Indiana

Marshfield is a ghost town in Vienna Township, Scott County, Indiana, United States, about three miles northwest of Scottsburg. Marshfield functioned as a water stop on the Jeffersonville, Madison and Indianapolis Railroad. It was the site of the 3rd train robbery in US history in 1868 by the Reno Gang of nearby Jackson County, Indiana. An Indiana historical marker marks the location of the robbery).
