Corwin was a small settlement in Henry County, Indiana, United States. Established in the mid 19th century, the site was little more than a station along the Pittsburg, Cincinnati and St. Louis Railway and never saw significant development. Though the railroad (now operated as the Connersville and New Castle Railroad) still persists, no other trace of Corwin remains.

New Castle, Indiana
New Castle is a city in Henry County, Indiana, 44 miles east-northeast of Indianapolis, on the Big Blue River. In 1900, 3,406 people lived in the town; in 1910, 9,446; in 1920, 14,458; and in 1940, 16,620. The population was 18,114 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Henry County. New Castle is home to New Castle Fieldhouse, the largest high school gymnasium in the world. The city is surrounded by a farming district.

New Castle Fieldhouse
The New Castle Fieldhouse is a 9,325-seat multi-purpose arena in New Castle, Indiana, USA. It is home to the New Castle Chrysler High School Trojans basketball team. Built in 1959, it is the largest high school basketball gym in the world. The New Castle Fieldhouse was built by the Ralph Hunnicutt & Sons Construction Company. The main basketball court is a "sunken" floor, meaning that one enters the building at the top of the bleachers and the playing floor is below.

New Castle High School is a public high school in New Castle, Indiana whose name is commonly abbreviated to NCHS. It is part of the New Castle Community School Corporation and has an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students. NCHS is the largest high school in Henry County. The present high school originated from the New Castle Academy in 1870. In 1895, New Castle High School was constructed. Because of its distinctive appearance, the building became known as "The Castle.
