National Motorcycle Museum (Anamosa, IA)

The National Motorcycle Museum located at 102 Chamber Drive in Anamosa, Iowa is a non-profit museum, founded in 1989 by motorcycle builders, racers, and riders. Its purpose to maintain the experience of bikes past and present as well as motorcycle memorabilia, documents and actual vintage bikes from as far back as 1903. It was named Iowa Tourism Attraction of the Year in 2001.

Anamosa State Penitentiary

Anamosa State Penitentiary is a maximum security penitentiary prison for men. It is located in the Jones County community of Anamosa, Iowa - approximately 25 miles northeast of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Currently the penitentiary is home to approximately 1080 inmates with another 175 in segregation (May 31, 2010) and has 357 staff members. Inmates working in the Iowa Prison Industries produce metal stamping, custom wood, printing, metal furniture, sign, and cleaning products at the penitentiary.
