Asbury is a city in Dubuque County, Iowa, United States, and a suburb of the city of Dubuque. It is part of the Dubuque, Iowa Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,170 at the 2010 census. Asbury is the second-largest city in Dubuque County, surpassing Dyersville, Iowa to become the second-largest in the 2010 U.S. Census count. The city is largely a bedroom community, made up of spacious, new subdivisions whose residents work in Dubuque or Peosta, Iowa.

The school's mascot is the Mustang, and it competes in class 4A of the Iowa High School Athletic Association as part of the Mississippi Valley Conference.

Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens 52 acres are an arboretum and botanical gardens established in 1980 and located at 3800 Arboretum Drive, Dubuque, Iowa. It is open without charge seven days a week from May 1 to October 31, and weekdays the remainder of the year. The arboretum is the largest in the United States staffed entirely by volunteers, and over 375 people help maintain the gardens. The Arboretum is a popular spot in the community for outdoor weddings.
