Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa
Maharishi Vedic City (MVC) is a city in Jefferson County, Iowa, United States. The population was 259 at the 2010 census. The city was first incorporated in 2001 as "Vedic City" but then officially changed its name to "Maharishi Vedic City" five months later. It was the first city to incorporate in Iowa since 1982. Maharishi Vedic City consists of approximately one square mile, located about four miles north of Fairfield, the home of Maharishi University of Management.

Blum Stadium
Blum Stadium was the home of Parsons College Wildcats football from 1966 through their final season in 1970. The dedication game was a 37-7 victory over Los Angeles State on October 8, 1966. The final game was a 10-8 victory over Wayne State (Mich. ) on October 24, 1970. Parsons overall record at Blum Stadium was 17-9. In previous years, Parsons had played on campus at Alumni Field.

Parsons College
Parsons College is a defunct, American, private liberal arts college located in Fairfield, Iowa. The school was named for its wealthy benefactor, Lewis B. Parsons Sr. , and was founded in 1875 with one building and 34 students. Over the years new buildings were constructed as enrollment expanded. The school lost its accreditation in 1948 but regained it two years later. In 1955 the school appointed Millard G.
