Winnebago River
The Winnebago River is a 72-mile-long river in northern Iowa. It is a tributary of the Shell Rock River, part of the Cedar River watershed that flows via the Iowa River to the Mississippi River. The Winnebago River rises in Winnebago County, Iowa north of Leland and flows south through Forest City, then east and southeast through Mason City on its way to the Shell Rock River at Rockford. Headwater tributaries of the Winnebago River extend north into southern Minnesota.

Floyd County, Iowa
Floyd County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 16,303 in the 2010 census, a decline from 16,900 in the 2000 census. The county seat is Charles City. It was established in 1854 and was named for Sgt. Charles Floyd of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, who died in 1804 near what is now Sioux City, Iowa, and who was the only member thereof to die on the Expedition.
