South Page Community Schools

South Page Community Schools is a small public school district in College Springs, Iowa. It was formed in 1960 by combining the Braddyville, Coin, Amity (College Springs) consolidated districts which included the communities of Blanchard and Shambaugh. Although the elementary and grades 7–12 are housed in College Springs, at one time there were two elementary schools located in Braddyville and Coin. The high school has always been located in College Springs.

Clarinda Treatment Complex

The Clarinda Treatment Complex was built in 1884 as the Clarinda State Hospital in Clarinda, Iowa in southwest Iowa. It was the third asylum in the state of Iowa and remains in operation today. The hospital's many name variations include: The Clarinda Lunatic Asylum, The Clarinda State Asylum, The Clarinda Asylum for the Insane, and The Clarinda Mental Health Institute. It was built under the Kirkbride Plan.

Clarinda Correctional Facility

The Clarinda Correctional Facility is a correctional institution located in the Page County community of Clarinda, Iowa. It is in southwest Iowa on the grounds of the Clarinda Treatment Complex. As of March 24, 2009, the prison houses about 867 inmates, while another 137 are in the Lodged section and employs 286 people.
