Silver City is a city in Mills County, Iowa, United States. The population was 245 at the 2010 census. The Wabash Trace--a railroad converted to a bicycle trail—passes through here. At trailside, there is a small park with a gazebo, and across from it, a small cafe.

Mineola, Iowa

Mineola is an unincorporated village in Mills County, Iowa, United States. This community on the highlands east of Keg Creek was first established as Lewis City during construction of the Wabash Railroad. The land had previously been owned by German immigrant freighter Louis Lanz and Germans long dominated the community. St. John's Lutheran Church was established in 1883 on the hill overlooking town.

Mills County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 15,059 in the 2010 census, an increase from 14,547 in the 2000 census. The county seat is Glenwood. It is one of three Iowa counties in the eight-county Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Glenwood Golf Course is a par 35, nine-hole golf course in Glenwood, Iowa. Thomas Davis designed the course with bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways. From the front tees it is 2564 yards, 33.5 rating, and 120 slope, and from the back tees it is 2776 yards, 34.5 rating, and 123 slope, as provided by the USGA.
