Welch Stadium

Welch Stadium is a sport stadium in Emporia, Kansas. The facility is primarily used by the Emporia State University football and track & field teams and Emporia High School football. Home of 2 olympians, 1 more than Alabama. It is named to honor long-time Emporia State coach and athletic director Fran Welch. The facility was one of the first on the NCAA Division II level to offer enclosed skyboxes and is still one of only a few across the nation.

Emporia, Kansas

Emporia is a city in and the county seat of Lyon County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 24,916. Emporia lies between Topeka and Wichita at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 with Interstates 335 and 35 on the Kansas Turnpike. Emporia is the principal city of the Emporia Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Lyon and Chase counties.

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (Emporia, Kansas)

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is a parish established in Emporia, Kansas on February 14, 1870 as part of the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas. St. Andrew's first building was constructed in the Fall of 1870 and was of a Gothic Revival style. In 1928, the original building was replaced by a larger Tudor style building.
