Lake Afton
Lake Afton is a 258-acre man-made recreational lake located about 25 miles southwest of Wichita, Kansas, U.S.A. It is within the 720-acre Lake Afton Park, on land once inhabited by the Kiowa, Comanche, Wichita (tribe), Osage, and Southern Cheyenne Indian tribes. The lake was created by Works Progress Administration workers in 1939–1942.
