Douglass Hills is a city in eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 5,718 at the 2000 census. It was farmland from 1813 until the 1970s, eventually some of it was owned by James J. Douglas from 1896 until his death in 1917. Middletown, Kentucky

Middletown is a city in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. It was chartered as a city in 1797. The population was 7,218 at the 2010 census. When the government of Jefferson County merged with the city of Louisville, Kentucky in 2003, citizens of Middletown also became citizens of the new Louisville Metro, however, none of the incorporated places in Jefferson County were affected. Eastern High School is located in Middletown.

Hurstbourne, Kentucky

Hurstbourne is a city in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 3,884 at the 2000 census. The land was surveyed by John Floyd in 1774 and part of a military land grant to Henry Harrison. It was first settled by William Linn, who built a stockade, Linn's Station, along Beargrass Creek in 1779. It was probably located along the east side of what is now Hurstbourne Parkway.
