WFBR-LP

WFBR-LP is a radio station licensed to broadcast in Mount Washington, Kentucky, USA. The station is currently owned by First Baptist Church of Mount Washington. WFBR first went on the air on November 29, 2003. The primary coverage area for WFBR includes most of Bullitt County, Kentucky (where it is based). It can also be tuned in throughout much of southern Jefferson County and western Spencer County. It has also been reported to be heard in Hardin and other surrounding counties in some areas.

Spencer County, Kentucky

Spencer County, founded in 1824, is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed from land from nearby existing counties in 1824. The population was 17,061 in the 2010 Census. Its county seat is Taylorsville. The county was named for Spier Spencer. Taylorsville Lake, located primarily within Spencer County, serves as a major economic resource for the area. Spencer was a dry county until 2009 when the county's residents voted to overturn the ban on alcohol sales.

Mount Washington, Kentucky

Mount Washington is a city in northeast Bullitt County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 8,485 at the 2000 census. The estimated population as of 2006 was 11,761. It is located at what was once the crossroads of two stagecoach routes, which spurred early population growth and the incorporation in 1822 of a town called Mt. Vernon, after George Washington's home. The name was changed to Mount Washington in 1833 to avoid confusion with Mount Vernon in Rockcastle County.
