Beverly Hills Supper Club fire

The Beverly Hills Supper Club fire in Southgate, Kentucky is the third deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history. It occurred on the night of May 28, 1977, during the Memorial Day weekend. A total of 165 persons died and over 200 were injured as a result of the blaze. It was the deadliest fire in the United States since 1942 when 491 people were killed in the Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington is a Roman Catholic diocese in Northern Kentucky, covering 3,359 square miles that includes the city of Covington and the following Kentucky counties: Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Carroll, Grant, Owen, Pendleton, Harrison, Bracken, Robertson, Mason, Fleming, and Lewis. The current bishop is the Most Reverend Roger Joseph Foys, D.D. The cathedral church of the diocese is the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption.

Kenton Vale, Kentucky

Kenton Vale is a city in Kenton County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 110 at the 2010 census. Kenton Vale consists of only one subdivision and a cemetery branching off of Madison Pike. There is only one way in and out of the city: through the intersection of Kuhrs Lane and Madison Pike. The city was primarily created to keep Covington from annexing the area.
